Qualified Infusion Care in an Outpatient Setting
Jackson Hospital’s Infusion Center at the Outpatient Center offers convenience for patients who require frequent infusions of medications, including those with central lines. We work with a diverse population of patients, such as:
- Cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy
- Patients with blood disorders such as hemophilia
- Patients requiring intravenous antibiotics
- Other patients who require intravenous treatments, but are not hospitalized.
Our Services
Our infusion center specializes in intravenous (IV) treatments. Services and treatments provided here include:
- IV hydration therapy
- Intramuscular injections
- Subcutaneous injections
- Transfusions of blood products such as platelets, red cells or plasma
- Chemotherapy
- IV antibiotics for an infection
- Immunomodulators (drugs that stimulate the immune system)
- Biological response modifiers (substances made by living cells that stimulate the body’s response to infection and disease; used for rheumatoid arthritis and other conditions)
- Central line catheter care
- IV antiemetics for nausea and vomiting
- IV immune globulin to boost the body’s natural defense system against infection
- Monoclonal antibodies to suppress the immune system or to kill/inhibit cancer cells
To create an optimal care experience, our team also provides:
- Assessment and evaluation
- Educational and instructional materials
- Procuring specimens for lab testing
- Providing updates to the primary physician
- Participating in ongoing utilization reviews with the primary physicians to promote the best treatment outcomes.

Location & Hours
The infusion center is located in the Jackson Hospital Outpatient Center, Hudnall Building, Room 110, located adjacent to the Hospital. The center is open Monday-Friday 7am-3pm (CST).
